Old Quilts and My Friend Alice
My friend Alice has acquired some old quilts. She's pretty sure her great-grandmother made them. Alice is about to divide them up, some for her family, some for her brothers' families. She invited me to view and take photos to have a record of them. Pretty and pretty awesome. There's a revolving slide show of the quilts and some photos of Alice and her cute grandbabies going on on the right of this post :D

Michelle Linder
The April meeting of my local quilt guild, BBQ City Quilters, featured artist and author, Michelle Linder. Michelle has published a book called Square Magic. This is an awesome book! This will change my quilting, I just know it. No more messed up points!
Beyond her incredible book about this liberating technique, Michelle Linder is a wonderful, warm and delightful person! Words can't convey the feeling one gets just chatting with her. It was a delight to get to have this short meeting with her. If you get a chance to spend any time with Michelle don't miss it!

Sewing Room Equipment
Here's the new equipment for my sewing studio! It's a steel rack of large plastic bins! My dear husband found it at Northern Tool. It is fabulous. :) I just love how it holds all my thread and bits and pieces of a variety of projects. It feeds my desire to have several projects going at once as I can pull out bins and work, then replace them and pull out something else to work on. At this rate I could have 64 projects going - that's the number of bins, and not finish anything!
